"Improve your golf mental toughness 10-fold"
Every golfer has heard the saying "It's all in your head" or "Golf is 90% mental" or "Golf is the most mentally demanding sport in the world." Yet what do golfers do about it? Well, most often absolutley nothing! Not necessarily because they don't want to, but sometimes golfers actually think the mental game doesn't matter to them!
Click Here to Unlock Your Mind and Shoot Better Golf
EVERY golfer can benefit from increasing their mental toughness and harnessing the full power of thier mind!
Many golfers naively get stuck into thinking that the mental game only matters for elite players or pros who make a living golfing. Nonsense! EVERY golfer needs to use their mind properly.
-
It is your mind that determines how well you learn when taking lessons. (and this training course is packed with accelerated learning techniques that will have you absorbing more from lessons)
-
It is your mind that will allow you to set up to the ball correctly and commit to your swing (or not!).
-
It is your mind that will either stay focused under pressure and get you to make a smooth, fluid stroke when you need to drain an 8 footer for the win, or have you choking like a dog and collapsing like a house of cards when the heat is on!
Click Here to Unlock Your Mind and Shoot Better Golf
"When you have a chance to shoot the lowest score of your life, you won't choke - You Will Go Low!"

GOLFWEEK TOUR MEMBERS PLAY THROUGH THE RAIN AT MILL CREEK GOLF CLUB
Mebane, NC
May 10, 2014
For the first 9 holes of the Golfweek Amateur Golf Tour event held at Mill Creek Golf Club the weather cooperated. You could hear some thunder in the distance, but the course remained dry.
Those conditions changed for the worse as most players were reaching their 10th hole. The rain that followed caused most groups to come in and "wait-out" the inclement conditions. However, most went back out within a half hour and finished their rounds.
One of those players was making his Tour debut. Danville Viginia's Michael Ferrell started his Tour career off on the right foot by shooting a 77 and claiming the top spot in the A Flight. He edged Greensboro's Ken Carlyle by a single stroke. Playing partner Bob Webber stated "Mike's a real nice guy and he's gonna do well 'on-Tour' ".
Mill Creek Winner: A Flight - Michael Ferrell
The Championship Flight was won by Fayetteville's Larry Hardee after Sanford's Craig Sturdivant was unable to go back out for a sudden-death shoot-out after both registered 75s. The weather delay and prior commitments later in the evening was the reason for the concession.
Mill Creek Winners (L to R):
Championship - Larry Hardee; B Flight - Nick Slager
The close finishes continued in the B Flight with Tour veteran Nick Slager nipping Fayetteville's Lanzo Wallace by a single stroke - 85 to 86.
Jason Beeson of Clemmons enjoyed the largest margin of victory on the day with a 92 that was 4 shots clear of Raleigh's Greg Dauscher for the C Flight crown.
Mill Creek Winners (L to R): C Flight - Jason Beeson;
D Flight - Chase Groom
Raleigh's Chase Groom was the only D Flight member to break 100 with a 99 that left him 2 shots ahead of Myrtle Beach's Steven Shadwick for the top spot in the Flight.
Next up for the Golfweek Tour is the 2014 season's second Major Event. Little River Resort will host that tournament next Saturday, May 17, with a 1:30 shotgun start.

Rules Review
It has been suggested that there should be a series of Rules scenarios for you to solve. So begins a series of problems titled What's the Score?
Doc Miller has graciously agreed to allow me to share these with you that he has been sending since July 2009.
I will include one each week. You should try to determine the answer based upon your knowledge of the Rules when ever possible and then use your Rule book to confirm.
There will be no trick questions or hidden information.

Question from week #249
This is a stroke play event with shop credit to those who do well. Mark’s ball lies on the green about 65 feet from the flag. Mark asks for someone to attend the flagstick, and a fellow competitor, Bill complies. Mark’s putt is a good one, it tracks directly towards the hole, has a good chance to go in and stops about 1/2 inch short. Bill tells Mark it was a great putt, and uses his foot to knock Mark’s ball away telling him “That’s good.”
Hmmm. Is it? What do you think?
A. Yes the hole is considered complete for Mark, the putt was conceded by a fellow competitor.
B. No, this is stroke play and the ball must be replaced and putted into the hole. There is no penalty.
C. When Bill kicked Mark’s putt, since he was attending the flagstick, Mark is penalized two strokes and the ball must be played as it lies. (R17-3b) Thanks a lot, Bill.
D. Bill is penalized one stroke for moving Mark’s ball in play. The ball must be replaced and putted out.
Answer:
B. There are no concessions in stroke play. You must always putt out. While Bill is officially attending the flagstick, Mark’s ball did not “strike” the attendant. The ball was at rest and moved by an outside agency (fellow competitor, Bill). As such, the ball must be replaced without penalty. No penalty to Bill. If Bill fails to hole out before he tees off on the next hole, he would be DQed.

Tour Weather Guidelines:
Primarily, we adhere to the same guidelines that the PGA Tour uses: If the course is open, we're going to play.
The only exception to this is that I'll never put any of you in harm's way during an event because of dangerous weather. (i.e. - lightening or severe cold and wetness).
In other words, I won't let the course "bully" us into playing where an unsafe condition might exist.
Because I arrive at every event at least two hours prior to the start time and I generally have to leave my house at least an hour before that to get to the course, there is no sense calling me just before the event, because I won't be at the office. The best avenue to take is to call the course if the weather seems threatening.
If you are on the roster for the event, and you do not get a cancellation notice from the course after calling them, you are expected to show up in time for the scheduled shotgun start.
