Championship Flight:
Jay Barnes wins by one despite hitting his final drive Out
of Bounds on the 18th. Barnes
had cruised along all day until the final hole when he hooked on left OB, but
he battled on making a double bogie and a one shot victory. Tour rookie Robert Burrow cashed again as he
posted 75 followed by Mike Gentry at 77 and Jody Clary with 78.
A Flight:
Tour Veteran Randy Hodges wins for the first time in 2015
with 77. Kevin Ronan cashed second with
80 followed by Scott Ide and Mike Nasekos at 81. Ide grabbed third place money on the card
playoff.
B Flight:
Terry Chesney wins for the first time on tour with a smooth
79. Terry Upright got his game back on
track Saturday finishing in second place with 80. Todd Mullis, Larry Hinson, Matt Crates and
Juan Delgado all tied at 84 with Mullis grabbing 3rd and Hinson 4th
on the card.
C Flight:
Another newcomer broke thru for a victory as John Anderson
wins by three with 85. Tommy Suh also
new to the tour had his best finish so far with 88 beating out the Upstate
Tours Alex Morrow on the card. Chuck
Young grabbed forth all alone with 89.
D Flight:
Michael Martin and Cory Bowman finished tied at 97 and went
into a sudden-death playoff. On the
first playoff hole Bowman claimed his first victory ever over Martin. Bradley Leak finished in solo third at 99
followed by Kim Joo at 102 beating out Andy Captain on the card playoff.
