The Golfweek Amateur Tours next stop is May 11th Saturday as we
go to the great old private club Cabarrus CC. Then the following week we go to
another great private club the Nicklaus designed Palisades on Lake Wylie.

Note: All players must pre-pay for Cabarrus CC because I will be
out of town for this tournament. Phil Van
Geersdaelen & Scott Ide will run this event for me and will collect skins
money only. Payments can be made on line
by credit card or by mailing a check to the address below. All checks will not be deposited until after
the event on Monday May 13th.

Practice rounds are weekdays’ only for Cabarrus CC are $30. The
Palisades is TBD on practice rounds will know after Cabarrus event.

Champ Flight:
Joe Jaspers finishes in first followed by Jim Aughtry second
then Jobe Dyson third and Jay Barnes 4th.
A Flight:
Charles Devenney takes home first place crystal followed by
Dennis Killough 2nd, Tim Smith 3rd and Jerome Cherry 4th
on the card playoff.
B Flight:
For the first time ever we have co winners as Phil
VanGeersdaelen & Derek Goodyear ended up tied and with no way to go into
sudden-death I awarded both of them first place. Third went to Allen Hagen then Cooper Daniel
was 4th.
C Flight:
Mark Sikes wins by two shots over Scott Grigg then Dan Greer third
and Richard Cairns beat out Ken Young on the card for 4th
place. All card playoffs were from day 2
with Cairns making a par and Young a bogey on the number one handicap hole.
D Flight:
Mason Hagen wins by two shots over Jay Tinch followed by Stephan
N-Plotnicki and Rob Formeck.
Again thanks to all of you’re for weathering thru a tough
weekend of rain. My hope is always to
complete every round unfortunately we fell just short and had to score the
event this way to be fair to all players.
