Championship Flight:
Joe Jaspers open by birding the first three holes he played
and never looked back as he fired a four under par round of 68 for a 2 two shot
victory. Billy Hall the only other
player under par finished second with 70.
Jay Barnes and Jim Aughtry both fired 73’s but it was Barnes grabbing
third on the card.
A Flight:
Don Bridges, James Ramsey, Scott Nichols and Mike Weber gave
us our largest sudden-death playoff o the year as all four players shot
77. Weber dropped out after the first
hole with a bogey then Bridges won the playoff with a birdie on the second
hole. Ramsey grabbed second and Nichols
third place money.
B Flight:
James Burrell won by only one shot Saturday with 78 followed
by Eric Stanwick with 79. Todd
Montgomery finished solo third with 81 and Todd Mozingo rounded out the top
four spots at 82.
C Flight:
Tyler Tarbet won with 79 and got an automatic promotion to
the B flight for his next tournament.
Dana Greer was second with 82 and Paul Ashmann at 87 and Peter Caponi 88
finished the top four spots.
D Flight:
Another sudden-death playoff as Tyler Ellis and Bob Beatty
finished tied at 92 then Ellis won on the first sudden-death playoff hole. Eric Riley and Erick French both shot 96.
