The Rock Barn tournament will be played Saturday June 19th 1:30 shotgun start, please email me back (Yes or No) on playing in this event. Champ & A Flight (Gold Tees) B & C Flight (Blue Tees) Championship Flight: Jim Aughtry held off Michael Bailey by one shot Saturday to win the eGolf Amateur Tour event at The Warrior. Jim’s final total was a one over par 72 followed by Michael Bailey’s 73 for second place. Robert Surratt and Todd McPherson but fired 74’s but it was Surratt getting third place on the card playoff. A Flight: Bryan Lewis posted a smooth 75 on Saturday to win by 2 shots. Jim States finished behind Lewis with 77 good enough for second place. Newcomer Chris Hickey broke out well and finished in third place with 78. Daniel Jackson rounded out the top four with 79. B Flight: Clif Morgan has been playing on tour for 5 years now and can finally say he has won on tour. Congrats to Clif on winning Saturday with a 76 his best round ever on tour. Right behind Clif was Phil Vangeersdaelen who was the leader in the club house until Morgan turned in the final card. VanGeersdaelen fired a 78 to finish in second place. Richard Ellams and Mike Groenewald finished tied at 79, but it was Ellams nipping Groenewald on the card for third place. C Flight: Durwin Striplin also won for the first time ever on tour with a blistering 81 on Saturday. Striplin needed his best score ever as 2 players were right behind him with 82’s. Dean Barron was one of them and finished second on the card while Kevin Terharr also shot 82 and finished in third place.
