Note the Steeple Chase event is right down the street from Stonebridge on Saturday only so avoid going Providence road to hwy 75 in Waxhaw as that is where all the traffic will be from 10-1pm. For Saturday go any of the highlighted Blue Color Ways.

From Uptown Charlotte:
- Take Providence Road South to Highway 84 (Weddington Winn Dixie Plaza on Left)
- Turn left on Highway 84, follow for 5.8 miles to Potter Road (Wesley Chapel School on corner)
- Turn Right on Potter Road and follow for 5.1 miles to traffic light in Mineral Springs. Intersection with Highway 75.
- Cross over Highway 75, go approximately 100 yards and turn left on Old Waxhaw Monroe Road.
- Stay straight on Old Waxhaw Monroe Road, which becomes Doster Road, for 2 miles and Stonebridge entrance will be on the left.
From 485 south of Charlotte: Don't use this route Saturday!!!
- Take Providence Road South Waxhaw.
- At stoplight after RR tracks in downtown Waxhaw. Turn left on Highway 75. Follow 3.5 miles to next stoplight. Sav Way store is on right
- Turn Right on Potter Road at light. Go approximately 100 yards and turn left on Old Waxhaw Monroe Road.
- Stay straight on Old Waxhaw Monroe Road, which becomes Doster Road, for 2 miles and Stonebridge entrance will be on the left.
From Concord:
- Take 601 south to Unionville Indian Trail Road.
- Unionville Indian Trail Road is 22 miles from Highway 49
- 12.2 miles from Highway 24/27
- 9.1 miles from Corning Plant
- Turn right on to Unionville Indian Trail Road. Follow 3.7 miles.
- Turn left at 2nd flashing light on Rocky River Road. Church on left and store on right.
- Follow Rocky River 2.7 miles to Highway 74.
- Go over Highway 74 and remain on Rocky River for 5.9 miles to intersection with Highway 75.
- Just after 2nd set of RR tracks.
- Go over Highway 75 for 1/10 of a mile.
- Turn left at Stop sign (5th stop sign or stop light since turning on Rocky River Rd.) You are still on Rocky River.
- Travel 1.4 miles to Doster Road (Volunteer Fire Station on Right). Turn right on Doster Rd.
- Travel 6/10 of mile and Stonebridge entrance is on right.
From Greensboro/85 North/Concord/University Area:
- Take 85 south to 485
- Follow 485 to Lawyers Road. Turn left at top of exit ramp. Follow 3.5 miles to Rocky River Road. Turn right on Rocky River Road.
- Follow Rocky River 4.7 miles to Highway 74.
- Go over Highway 74 and remain on Rocky River for 5.9 miles to intersection with Highway 75.
- Just after 2nd set of RR tracks.
- Go over Highway 75 for 1/10 of a mile.
- Turn left at Stop sign (5th stop sign or stop light since crossing Highway 74.) You are still on Rocky River.
- Travel 1.4 miles to Doster Road (Volunteer Fire Station on Right). Turn right on Doster Rd.
- Travel 6/10 of mile and Stonebridge entrance is on right.
From Independence Blvd:
- Follow 74 east past Interstate 485. Once you cross I-485, go 7.2 miles Turn right at the Kangaroo Gas Station on Rocky River Road
- Follow Rocky River for 5.9 miles to intersection with Highway 75.
- Just after 2nd set of RR tracks.
- Go over Highway 75 for 1/10 of a mile.
- Turn left at Stop sign (5th stop sign or stop light since turning on Rocky River Rd.) You are still on Rocky River.
- Travel 1.4 miles to Doster Road (Volunteer Fire Station on Right). Turn right on Doster Rd.
- Travel 6/10 of mile and Stonebridge entrance is on right.
Championship Flight:
Jim Aughtry played consistent all day as he posted a 35 front and 35 back nine score for a one shot victory score of 70. Chris Cassetta tried to make a run at Aughtry as he birdied the difficult par three 16th and then the par five 17th, but came up one shot short with an even par round of 71. Michael Bailey cashed in third with 73 and Greg Harrold grabbed 4th with 75 beating out Whit Fairer on the card.
A Flight:
Former Triad Tour member Nick Terry started his season off in fine fashion firing a smooth 76 which got him into a sudden-death playoff with Wayne Wooten on Saturday. Terry won on the first sudden-death playoff hole as Wootens drive ended up out-of-bounds. Jason Breedlove finished in third with 77 and Mike Nasekos beat out Greg Baber on the card for 4th place money. Both Nasekos and Baber shot 78’s.
B Flight:
Terry Upright and newcomer Ken Gallentine also went into sudden-death after 18 holes. Both players fired 77’s but on the first playoff hole the 18th Upright beat out Gallentine for his first victory of the season. Allen Hagen again broke 80 for the second time ever and finished in third place with 79 beating out Durwin Striplin on the card playoff.
C Flight:
Robbie Ellis won for the first time in 2012 posting a very strong 81 to win by 2 shots. Brent Edwards and Steve Daniels both tied with 83’s but Edwards won second place money on the card. Larry Barker rounded out the top four with a nice round of 87.
D Flight:
Jay Turner wins his first in style firing a smooth 94 for the victory. Derrick Hall finished in second place with 105.
