The Gauntlet Delivered a Championship to Remember
The inaugural Never Out of Bounds Championship delivered everything the Richmond Tour hoped for and more. The course was in outstanding condition, the staff at The Gauntlet provided exceptional hospitality, and 68 players from Richmond, Tidewater, and Washington, DC Metro created a championship atmosphere from the opening tee shot to the final playoff putt.
Three flights required sudden-death playoffs, led by an unforgettable four-player battle in Champ Flight. Adam Clary, Jacari Dillard, Chris Greenfield, and Alfred Everett all finished regulation at 79. Four playoff holes later, Clary finally emerged as the inaugural champion.
It took 22 holes to crown the inaugural Never Out of Bounds Champion. Adam Clary earned every one of them.
