On a sunny, and bright day, 124 golfers competed at the Three Tour Combo @ The Highlands Golf Club. With some tough course set up, tough pins and fast greens, the Par 72 Course was in perfect condition and the greens were rolling fast. With players from the three Virginia Tours, (Richmond, Tidewater and DC Metro), the level of competition was high once again between these three tours. The bond continues to build within these three tours as they support one another all season. The support from the entire course staff was wonderful.

After two three tour combo events, DC Metro has recorded 7 Flight Champions, Tidewater 2 Flight Champions, Richmond 1 Flight Champion. Next Up: Kiskiack Golf Club, Hosted by Tidewater, VA.

CHAMPIONSHIP FLIGHT

In Champ Flight, DC Metro's Ryan Schlueter carded a +2 (74), to hold off Tidewater's Mike Hartselle, 79 (+7) by 5-strokes for his second three tour tournament win.

A FLIGHT

In A-Flight, Richmond's Marvin Bishop, carded a 77 (+5), to take the win win over Tidewater's Bords Alingig, 81 (+9) by 4-strokes who finished in second-place. Tidewater Tour player Kevin Martin, 82 took third-place. Followed by Scott Kattwinkel who took fourth place with a 83. Rounding out the Payout places was Ben Devine 84, and Thomas Dobrick 84.

B FLIGHT

In B-Flight, DC Metro's Esdras Garcia Caban, carded a 82 (+10), to take the win win over DC Metro's Max Shapiro, 84 (+12) by 2-strokes who finished in second-place. DC Metro Tour player Matthew Foreman, 87 took third-place. Followed by DJ Engler who took fourth place with a 88. Rounding out the Payout places was Trey Richardson 88, and Eric Distler 89.

C FLIGHT

In C-Flight, Tidewater's Josh Miller, carded a 90 (+18), to take the win win over Tidewater's Mike Mercado, 91 (+19) by 1-stroke who finished in second-place. Tidewater Tour player John Parrish, 92 took third-place. Followed by Todd Lorenz who took fourth place with a 92. Rounding out the Payout places was Bob Potter 92, and James Briggs 93.

D FLIGHT

In D-Flight, DC Metro's Jay Thompson, carded a 94 (+22), to take the win win over Tidewater's Hal Lare, 95 (+23) by 1-stroke who finished in second-place. Richmond Tour player Steven House, 96 took third-place. Followed by Manuel Flores who took fourth place with a 98. Rounding out the Payout places was Brian Casten 98, and John O'Connell 99.
