Heritage Golf Links Tournament Recap:

Heritage Golf Links made a return to the Atlanta Golfweek schedule this year and it did not disappoint! Massive green complexes and pristine conditions were the talk of the day. Along with great playing conditions, the competition among the flights was also stellar!

The Champ Flight saw perennial powerhouse Bryan Reynolds blow his competition away with a strong showing of 75 - a 10 shot victory over 2nd place.

For the 2nd tournament in a row, The A Flight welcomed 2 brand new tour members to their first tournament. Those 2 new members brought with them a strong showing - finishing in the top 2 spots. In the end it was Chuck Hobgood who bested Philip Hoang by 2 shots. Hobgood finished with 75 while Hoang carded a 77.

The B Flight saw a familiar face, Eric Lott, return for his 1st tournament of the year and he took full advantage of the opportunity - carding a 77 to finish 4 strokes ahead of another tour veteran Craig Peplin who shot a round of 81.

C Flight continues to rise and fall on the shoulders of Charles Mathis, who again emerged victorious with his best round of the year - a score of 84. Tight competition for 2nd place resulted in a 3 way tie, with Mike Webb, Lee Morris and Andy Bennett all turning in 87s on the day.

The D Flight saw first year member Jamie Moungkhoune card an 86 that was good enough for the win and a promotion to C flight. Ashby Alexander as broke into the 80s with his round of 89, claiming 2nd place.

Overall, Heritage was a thrilling event and could become an annual staple on the tour.

Thanks to all our Atlanta Tour members for your continued support as we seek to push our tour to new heights!
