EDGEWATER RESULTS

Championship Flight:

Jay Barnes got hot late finishing with an eagle and a birdie to win with a one under par round of 71.  Jason Orr had a “Dow Jows” round with a triple, double bogie, 5 birdies and an eagle en route to an even par finish at 72.  David Schmidt finished in third at 74 and Steve French beat out Jobe Dyson on the card for 4^th place.

A Flight:

Don Bridge wins vy one shot over Jason Breedlove as Bridges fired 74 and Breedlove 75.  Mike Nasekos and Jason Long both tied at 76 with Nasekos winning third place on the card.  Long also posted a crazy round with 7 birdies which he started his round birding the first four holes.

B Flight:

Traci Dyson hosted the first place crystal as the first female in several years won on the Charlotte Tour.  Dyson fired 78 followed by Nolan Elenz in second with 80.  Joe Lewis continues to improve with third place at 81.  Rich Daniel and Stu Timku both tied at 83 but Daniels too home 4^th place money on the card playoff.

C Flight:

Mason hagen won by 2 with 88 followed by four other players at 90.  The Upstates Josh Calhoun grabbed second on the card followed by Stefan N- Plotnicki then Paul Ashmann, Larry Hinson also fired 90 but missed out of the money on the card.

D Flight:

Bill Bender wins for the first time with 89 followed by Paul Harmon at 93 and Bob Beatty with 99.

A special thanks to US Open and Master Champion Fuzzy Zoeller who was nothing but a class act with our guys on Saturday.  Fuzzy conducted a clinic Saturday morning open to anyone but stayed around afterwards to sign autographs with all the Golfweek Amateur Tour participants.  Then he graciously took a group photo with all of us, Thanks Fuzzy!
