Lacombe, Edwards, Moreno, Higuet and Matlock all win the season opener at Savannah Harbor!

Champ:
North Florida’s Lance Lacombe started slow at 2 over par after three holes but was not giving up that easily. Lacombe moved on to make a few birdies on the front and then scored four under on the back for a three-shot victory at 67. Johnny Sundstrom was impressive in the season opener with a second place 70 followed by Dylan Mulvihill at 71. Peter Grimes finished strong and in solo fourth place with 72. Four players all tied fifth (Seth Williams, Jeff Wong, Andres Lopez, Andrew Scarano) with 74’s.

A Flight:
Scott Edwards wins by just one shot with 74 followed by Chris Novack and George Lepine IV at 75. Novack’s second place keeps him still out of ever winning first place in any tournament thus far. I see that changing very soon. Chris Kazmierski was fourth at 76 followed by Arron Allee with 77.

B Flight:
Misael Moreno & Max Emerson tied at 78 and went back out to the 18th for sudden death. In the playoff Moreno made an incredible scrambling par for the victory. Taylor Duncan captured third at 81 followed by Patrick Osborne and JR Robinson with 82’s.

C Flight:
Dallas Higuet grabs his first ever victory in style winning by 2 shots with 81. Ray Clark back from a year off did not skip a beat and grabbed solo second with 83 followed by Manuel Guzman and James Green at 84.

D Flight:
Carl Matlock came out hot and never looked back playing one of his best rounds ever one tour for the victory with 88. Mark Milboer was second at 95 followed by Joe Peny 98 and Jeff Osborne with 102.
