The eGolf Tournament Week Wrap-Up

Sunday Pink Out!
What a great way to wrap up the 2010 eGolf Amateur Tour season. The weather was probably the best weather we’ve had for the past four or five years during the championship weekend. The courses were in great shape, excluding the greens at Robbers Row that is ïŠ What more could we have asked for to finish the season?
I know that I haven’t been down here long, but I am extremely proud of the way that the Hilton Head – Savannah Tour was represented this weekend. Last year the tour wasn’t even represented in the team cup race. This year we were fourth heading into the last day (I don’t know how we finished BUT I do know I wasn’t much help ïŠ). I can only imagine how great the 2011 season is going to be!
I would also like to thank everyone who wore pink for our “Pink Out†on Sunday. I know we weren’t able to get everyone in the picture but I do know that I saw a lot of pink on Sunday. I truly thank each and every one of you for showing your support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I will try to organize various other days like this throughout the season. Again, I thank each of you.
There are so many exciting things coming our way for next year. All week long the Columbus, OH tour director and I have been trash talking with each other (playfully of course). We are in the process of organizing a Ryder Cup type match between the Columbus, OH Tour and the Hilton Head-Savannah Tour. I think we can take them. Anybody disagree with me? As soon as we nail down the details, I will pass along the news.
In addition to the Ryder Cup match, I am also running ideas by Larry Lee about our tour in particular. I truly believe that we should and can be the best tour amongst all the tours. We host the National Tournament every year and we have one of the lowest membership rosters. I am dedicated to this tour and to restoring this tour, but I need everyone’s help. We are just over two months away from our first event for 2011 (can you believe that?!?). I encourage everyone to spread the word about the tour to all your friends. The more people we have playing, the more prizes we can win. It’s a win/win. So, spread the word about the tour and let’s make 2011 the best year we have ever had!
Again, I cannot wait for the 2011 season to get started. I, for one, need to erase the memory of my awful scores for the national tournament. Listed below are the scores from the players from the HHI-SAV tour. I apologize in advance if I missed anyone.
