Jake Garey, Charles Getsinger, John Saager, Ronnie Henderson and Aaron Chase all win at Fazio!
Champ Flight:
Jake Garey
and Chris Legare played hard all day and ended up tied after 18 holes at
71. In the sudden-death playoff Garey
captured his second victory on tour by birding the second hole making Legare
solo second. Only one stroke back from
the playoff Gerry Pascale cashed third on the card over Jeff Wong who finished
fourth. Both players shot 72 followed by
Zake Masterson and Wes Fennel at 73.
A Flight:
Charles
Getsinger & Bob Maclaurin also tied at 77 for first place, but Maclaurin had
to leave so he could play in the sudden-death playoff so Getsinger receives his
first victory on tour. Rod Alligire, Joe Combs Chris Novack and Charleston’s
Biff Huff all tied at 80 in third place.
B Flight:
John Saager
(Charleston) wins by one shot over two other players with 80. Brian Priester and John Robinson tied at 81
but it was Priester grabbing second place cash on the scorecard playoff. Paul
Sherry was solo fourth with 84.
C Flight:
Ronnie
Henderson (Arkansas) wins by three shots with an impressive round of 84. Travis Carlisle and Mark Milboer finished
tied at 87 with Carlisle cashing second place money on the card.
D Flight:
Aaron Chase (Charleston)
brings home the second flight win for the Charleston Tour as he also won by
three shots for the victory at 94. Tom
Wendel was second at 97 followed by Aaron Masterson with 99.
