Presidential was challenging. Between the course, the wind and the players it
was quite a day. Here is the recap...
The
Championship Flight trophy went to Andrew
Neal from the Philly Tour. Andrew shot a 76 and beat Devon Hayes by two strokes. The Championship players were not the
only ones on Saturday to score in the 70’s though. Gordan Brixi took first place in the A Flight with an amazing 74.
Second place went to Don Powell(Philly Tour) and Ted Winfield who
both carded an 85.
First
in the B Flight was Steve D’Ambrosiowith a score of 83. Unfortunately, he left before getting his picture taken!
Second, third and fourth place winners were each one stroke behind each other.
New member Scott Bujec finished with
an 85 followed by Thomas Hamilton (86).
Right on their heels were Anthony Leysonand Scott Stewart both with 87.
Competition
was fierce in the C Flight as well. Steve
Stewart won with an 86 and just barely beat Dan Pastorek’s 87. Justin
Rau, another new member, came in third place with a score of 88. Thompson Sawyer placed fourth (90) and George Young rounded off the prizewinners
with a 94.
After
last tournament’s play off for first place, Don Cherry took home the trophy this week outright by winning with
a score of 96. In second place was Chuck
Lineberry with a 99.
