Thank you for making this such as successful season--we could not have done it without YOU!

We were selected by the National Headquarters as the Tour of the Year. This is a big honor and achievement--thanks for being a part of it and for making this all possible!

DC Metro at Nationals

As you can see from the above picture, DC Metro was well represented at the National Tournament this year! We had a great time on and off the course between the pairings dinner where we were recognized as the Best Tour of 2013 to our special evening dinner just for DC Metro members! With many people attending the Nationals for the first time and many others returning in a higher flight than last year, we are poised for great things in 2014!

Congratulations go to all who played but a special round of applause goes to the following golfers for finishing in the top 10 in their flight: Rex Close #6, Ken Mutzabaugh #8 and Nick Gerstner #9!

Our big push for next year will be to reach the 200+ members mark! Keep in mind we will have early bird registration and will also be attending the Washington DC Golf Show to attract new members. However, the best new members are the ones YOU invite to play! Be sure to share the newsletter, the Facebook page and the Amateur Tour website! Details about the Golf Show may be found here January 31-February 2 at the Dulles Expo Center--we will have a booth, do onsite registration for next year and will even have some prizes! Make sure you stop by and see us if you are there!
