As we get more into the season, our members are creating more and more exciting tournaments. The event at Musket Ridge was no exception! We saw another playoff, an eagle by Bruce Foote and low scores on a tough course...nice job DC Metro!

Two tournaments in a row, A Flight member John Nesbitt shot the lowest round of the entire day. With a score of 77, John took home both the trophy and bragging rites. We’ll have to see if the streak continues at Lansdowne! Member Van Stemple scored an 80 to claim second place and was followed by Dave Pongrace with an 82. Championship member Jack Sheehan’s score of 78 enabled him to take first place in his division.

Meanwhile, Bruce Foote led the pack in the B Flight and finished strong with a 78. Damian Williams followed close behind and carded an 82. Third and fourth place members of the B Flight went toNick Gerstner and Bill Spruce respectively with scores of 87.

Competition was especially stiff in the C Flight. As a result, Don Balland David Macke went back on the course for a play-off after both men shot an 84. Third and fourth place resulted in a golf card playoff for both Thomas Fox and Chris Crawford with an 85.

Finally, the D Flight winner, Nate Cohen scored an impressive 88 to take the lead over fellow golfer, Brian Granville who shot a 91. Hopefully everyone reading this recap will sign up for our first 2-day event. Please continue to have your friends and family members join the tour—we are looking for new members all of the time.
