Bulle
Rock is now the first tournament!
This
tournament will not only be our first major (worth double points) but will also
serve as our season opener. We have added more tee times for the tournament, go ahead and sign up using this link. To be entered in to the tournament you must also pay the tournament fee online or let Tim know you will be paying at the course. Remember to also register and pay the annual membership fee so that
you are ready to play!
Here
are some details about the logistics for the first tournament.
Tee

during the evening of Thursday, March 20th.

via the link on our website. If you need to make other arrangements (such as
paying by cash or check) send an email to dc@amateurgolftour.net
indicating your intentions. We must have a payment or an email regarding your
payment to reserve your tee time.
Tournament
Check-In - Every golfer MUST check in 30 minutes
prior to his/her tee time and each foursome MUST be on the 1st tee 10 minutes
prior to their tee time. When you check in you will have the opportunity to participate
in the side games for the tournament (skins and closest to the pin). These
contests are cash only!
Cancellation
Policy - Please keep in mind that we must give a
total number of players to each course ahead of time. As a result, we do have a
policy in place for anyone that must withdraw from a tournament after the
registration deadline (in this case it was Saturday, March 8th).
• If
you cancel before the deadline you get a full refund.
• If
you cancel after the deadline AND someone can take your spot, you
get a full refund.
• If
someone does not take your spot AND the course does not charge us,
you are refunded greens fees.
• If
someone does not take your spot AND the course charges us for you,
you do not get a refund.
In
the meantime, keep in mind that all tournaments are open for registration and
some are starting to fill up. Remember the deadlines for each tournment are
seven to fourteen days prior to the event. If you or someone you are recruiting
for the Tour have any questions, feel free to contact Tim and/or Dan directly.
Stay warm and we look forward to seeing everyone real soon!
