The weather was beautiful, the people were wonderful and the Kick-Off Event at Northwest Golf Course was a success! Although the tournament was small, the golf was great! Nine members of the newly formed DC Metro Amateur Tour were joined by Dick McDonough, from Tidewater’s Amateur Tour for the Inaugural Season’s Kick-Off on May 1st. The combination of experienced competitive golfers and first time participants enabled everyone to enjoy the day, meet new people and get the 2010 season off to a great start!
