RESULTS OAK HILL 3/13/10 Well we got another one in; I know spring is one the 4 seasons but any idea when it’s coming???? Tough day with the wind and carts path only can make for a long round, which it did for us…. Also a note when we are pushing to beat the darkness, PLEASE limit your time at the turn…. 10-15 minutes saved means a lot. We had another great turnout, in part from some visiting tour players from August, Charlotte and Charleston. And were getting better and not letting these visitors win (only lost in the C Flt). But thanks again for the turn-out and try and invite more. Right now it looks like we have about 35 paid members. Remember the bonus plans for players kick in at 50 paid…….. So keep inviting some members. They can play an event as a guest to see if they like it, and if they do then they can join…. Now for Saturday’s winners: CHAMP FLT Jonathan Mathias ($60) had a super solid round shooting an even par 72, and in 2nd place was Kable Corley (40) with and 80 one stroke over Ryan Cronin. A Flt another good crowd 9 players and it was won by Hiran Hicks (90) with an 83 for a 1 shot victory over new member Mike Griggs (55) 2nd in 3rd place was another new member James Donahue (35). In B Flt one of the biggest fields we have had, turned out we had a tie for 1st place at 85 and John Beckman (150) was the winner over Wes Graves (80) and in 3rd place was Les Bradstreet (60) and in a tie for 4th place Ken Wilhelm (30) beat out Ralph LaCarbonara, both having 88. In the C Flt Nolan Elenz (70) was the winner shooting an 87 and in 2nd place was Dean Keisler (50) in a 3 man playoff with Larry Hinson & Jerome Smith all having a 94.
