We had another good day with the weather, only a little bit of showers. We still need to work on the pace of play, we are still running over 5 hrs and we have to do better than that….. so please do what you can to speed up YOUR play, less time in set up routine, be ready to hit when its your turn, basically ready golf…. Remember your expected to play par 4’s in 15 min, par 3’s in 12 and par 5’s in 18…if you do the math that’s 4 ½ hours per round ….. So if we are over 5 hrs that means were about 2-3 holes behind. This is important because our tour is getting to play more private clubs and pace of play is critical with them and will help us getting to play there more. We had a good crowd with quite a few out of town tour players, and unfortunately they did a pretty good job getting in the winners circle in many flights. In the A Flt Ernie Timmerman of Augusta tour had the low round of 77 to win. In the B Flt we had pretty tight race John Upchurch and Wes Graves tied with 82 and Upchurch won on 2 hole playoff. For 3rd place we had 3way tie with Lawrence Whiteside, Alan Hagen and Robert Omar all shooting 84, with Omar winning playoff. In the C Flt Ryan O’Leary won with an 89 and in the D Flt John Webb was the winner with a 99.
