What a great day, weather wise, and also with the golf. We had a good turnout for a holiday weekend; we had a new member and some visiting tour players. Also I need to compliment you on the pace of play; it was pretty good with some finishing in about 4 hours!!!! That’s great and we need to keep doing that. Now for the winners: in the Champ Flight we had our newest member Josh Landers win his first event shooting a 75… over Hiran Hicks who had an 80. In the A Flight Kevin Gilmer of the Upstate tour won with an 83 beating Darryl Averyhart who had an 85. In the B Flight Jim Hestikind shot an 84 (after pleading poor play) to beat Ken Wilhelm who had an 85, with Ralph LaCarbonara finally making the leader board in 3rd place. In C Flight Trey Martin from the MB tour had an 85 to beat Lyle Waddell who had an 88 (Lyle was missing his Southern Comfort). And in the D Flight Tom Haddad won with a 100 over David Bruce 101.
