Thanks to all for the great turnout, I think we had a great day, except for the wind. The golf course was great and the shotgun start was terrific. I think the staff did a terrific job, and made the best of some difficult logistics, with the parking lot. I was also pleased in the better pace of play, it was great improvement over some other events, and I did not get any complaints from the pro. In the Championship flight Ryan Cronin has his best round to date, with 4 birdies on his way to a 77 to win over Kevin Steagall. In the A Flight we had another first time winner Darryl Averyhart with a solid 85 over John Tucker. The B Flight with the largest group we have every had 17 players in the flight, with the winner Louie Hinson a veteran of the tour with a good round 84 over newcomer Erik Simensen. In the C Flight Pat Sufka from the Myrtle Beach tour, who has had two great rounds won with an 84 over Ron Payne also from the Myrtle Beach tour. In the D Flight the playoff battle goes on with this week’s winner Tom Haddad over David Bruce.
