- USGA Rules are in effect at all
times. If a question about the
rules comes up and you are not sure what to do, play (2) balls and write
the Score down for each. A rules
determination will be made by the Tour Directors and the Head Pro at the
end of play.
- We will be using a Triple
Bogey Max Score except Champ
Flight. When you
reach Triple-Bogey, please pick up and continue to the next hole.
- Playing Conditions, Local Rules, Golf
Cart Rules: To Be Announced
- Yardage devices/range finders are allowed on all tour events.
- Optional Games (we will collect all Optional Cash game entry on
Day 1) $50 gets you into all
Optional Cash Games for both days.
- Closest to Pins $5/day
($10 for entire weekend)

Total money
collected is divided equally by the number of par 3’s.
ii.
All Flights
eligible on each hole. So you have 4
chances to hit a good shot or get lucky
- Flight skins game $10/day ($20 for entire weekend)

Champ and A
Flight are combined for the Flight Skins

All other flights
are separate based on Flight

entire weekend)

- Scoring and Score Cards- Please review the following rules that
deal with scoring and scorecards.
a)
There is only one official score card
per group. Live scoring is also to be
used but need paper card as well.
b)
At the end of
play, the paper scorecard needs to be validated against
the live scoring. Completing this
step only takes a few minutes and will alleviate any scoring discrepancies when
we are validating scores in the clubhouse.
c)
All players
within the group must be sign the paper scorecard.
d)
All First Place ties will be broken by a playoff on the
course.
i.
Playoff will begin on Hole 18 and continue to #1, etc. until the tie is broken or darkness stops play.
ii.
If something
prohibits us from doing a playoff, then we revert to the following Tie Break
Rules which are used for all places other than 1st.

Second Day Score
is the first Tie Breaker
2.
If still tied,
then Holes 10-18 (2nd day)
3.
If still tied,
Then Holes 13-18 (2nd day)
4.
If still tied,
Then Holes 16-18 (2nd day)
5.
If Still Tied

e) Always turn
your card to the scoring area first before putting your clubs in your car.
2) Pace of Play
—We have a large field, it is each
player’s responsibility to keep up his/her pace of play. Please be aware of
your foursome’s position and strive to Keep up with the group in front of you. We will have multiple groups starting on each
hole, so if you do not see the group in front of you after a couple of holes,
you are behind and please pick up the pace.

Time limit
for looking for a lost ball is 3 minutes (down from 5)
·
There are no
such things as water hazards any longer, these are penalty areas. When playing out of a penalty area, you are
allowed to move loose impediments and ground your club.

You still cannot ground your
club in a bunker!
·
You may keep
the Flag Stick in the hole when putting from on the green.
·
There will be
NO Local Rule in place for Lost or a Ball out of bounds. If you think your ball may be Out of Bounds
or Lost, PLEASE, hit a provisional ball before you go and look. You do not want to DRIVE back to the area
where you hit your previous shot if the ball is indeed lost or OB.
·
All Drops
will be taken from KNEE height, not shoulder height….If you do this or see
someone do this, please have the person re-drop (no penalty).
·
When in
doubt… Play two balls and get the appropriate ruling when the round is
completed.
Other Items.
- Drop
Zones will NOT be used. This is consistent
with the National Championship and most local events.
