We had one of our best turn-outs, with a good representative group in each flight. We had 3 new members all in the fabulous C flt….. Curtis Dickson, Jason Gregory and Dean Keisler. And we had a couple of Champ flt guest who I hope will come back as members. Nothing like more players to make the tour more competitive. And now for the results for sat……We had good match in the Champ flight with Jim Martin and Brian Bland both coming in with 75 and Mike Britt one stroke back at 76…… that’s close folks. Jim Martin beat Brian Bland in a 2 hole playoff on the course. In the A Flight we had another close match with Ron Atkinson winning with an 82, and Paul Sanderson with an 83, Wes Aikens guest from Atl 84 and John Tucker 85. Incidentally Paul Sanderson is expecting first child this Wednesday, hoping for good health for all. In the B flight Jerry York from Charlotte had great round of 80 and Mike Hinson also from Charlotte 86. In the C Flight we had another close match with Ron Payne of the Myrtle Beach tour with an 83 beating Joe Bales with an 84. D Flight Pat Sullivan and Wiley Burrows both had 87 and Pat Sullivan won on a playoff with cards.
