Well another visit to the elite playground of SPRING VALLEY was very nice, our tour was treated well and I think everyone had a good time…. Except we did not realize grillroom closed around 630pm so they missed a few bee sales. But according to the scores our tour didn’t do too well on this latest trip to SPRING VALLEY we only had two players break 80, JOHN BECKMAN the old pro and MARCUS DUDLEY probably the next B Flt move!!!!

Here’s how play went:

CHAMPIONSHIP FLIGHT; we had 3 players competing, it looked like it took all three nine holes to warm up, RICHARD LOY lead with 41 on back, PETE HOLMES had 45 and PHIL PHIEFFER had 43….. On the back a little different LOY had a 39 to finish at 80…. HOLMES was one under 35 to finish at 80 and PHIEFFER had 38 to finish at 81. LOY won the playoff on the card.

A FLIGHT another case of the "tale of 2 nines" BRIAN HOLZBERGER (Myrtle Beach tour) had a 44 on front and 38 on back for 82…. HIRAN HICKS had 45 front and 38 on back for an 83….. Both players had 2 birdies on the back. HOLZBERGER was the winner HICKS 2^nd.

B FLIGHT the "old pro" JOHN BECKMAN blistered the field with a super round of 79 with 3 birdies on 8,9 & 10… he used bowling term calling it a "turkey" but no skin money… 2^nd went to DAVID AUSSICKER who had an 87.

C FLIGHT MARCUS DUDLEY had his best round on the tour with a good front nine of 42 and an outstanding back nine with 2 birdies for and even par 36 and a 78 total… congratulations MARCUS. 2^nd went to GARY COLLINS.

D FLIGHT this turned out the be a dogfight between TOM HADDAD and CURTIS DICKSON …..DICKSON had pretty event nines 45&46 for 91…. While HADDAD, improved on his with a 48 on front and 43 on the back with a birdie on 10. HADDAD won on a 2 hole playoff on card.
