2017 Champion Auto Lift Open at Branson Hills Golf Club:

A great big thanks to Tim Smith, Ted Rand and Keith Goolsby for sponsoring the Champion Auto Lift Open at Branson Creek Golf Club. In addition to a great party at the home of Keith Goolsby, a fun practice round on Friday and some shows, we managed to get in 2 days of golf at a great golf course, Branson Hills Golf Club:

Champ Flight

   In the Champ flight, Ben Starsky (79-77 - 156) notched another victory this season with a 6-stroke win over Cody Burns (82-80 - 162).

A Flight

  In the A Flight, Roy Blancaflor (82-77 - 159) improved on last weeks 2nd place finish winning by 3 strokes over Shawn Stillman (80-82 - 162). Tour Director, Jerry Homishak (76-87 - 163) was 3rd and Rick Cherry (82-85 - 167) finished 4th.    

B Flight 

    In the B Flight, Justin Lewis (81-76 - 157) had a great 2nd round and won the tournament by 9 strokes over Graham Morrell (76-90 - 166). Rounding out the paid places in the B Flight was Keith Greenfield (83-86 - 169)

C Flight

Our only playoff this weekend was in the C Flight, where Jay Williams(94-87 - 181) and Mike Myers (89-92 - 181) needed an extra hole to decide the winner. Jay Williams chipped in for par on 18 to take home the hardware. Finishing 3rd was Greg Moring (91-96 - 187).

D Flight

  One of the tournament sponsors, Tim Smith (92-85 - 177), prevailed in the D Flight over Beau Flynn (92-87 - 179) and Ty Stephenson (96-89 - 185).
