Riser Nissan Open at Balboa GC:
On Saturday, May 16th, the Arkansas GolfWeek Amateur Tour had a great turnout for the Riser Nissan Open at Balboa Golf Course in Hot Springs Village. Below are the winners:

Champ Flight
Ben Starsky defeated Lee Sanders in a 2-hole playoff after both players carded equal scores of 77 in 18 holes.
A Flight
Scott House (80) defeated Dwayne Shock (80 - not pictured) in a cardoff for 1st place. Tony Palmer missed the playoff by one stroke (81) for 3rd place.
B Flight
The B flight had one of the closest groups with Larry Greenfield taking 1st with an 80. John Dailey (far right) kept it close with an 81 and LR Gardner (standing in for LR is Keith Greenfield) (83) and Mike Skeen (far left) (84) rounded out the winners in the B Flight.
C Flight
Gary Gammons won his first tournament since moving up from the D Flight with a great score of 86. Mike Myers continues to be on the leaderboard with an 88 for 2nd. Tracy Leonord (89), another D flight graduate took 3rd in a cardoff with Jerry Crabtree (89).
D Flight
Another playoff was needed in the D Flight to decide a winner. Larry Hunter and Greg Moring both posted 93 in regulation and headed back to 18. Larry Hunter prevailed in the extra hole to take home first place. In another close finish, Al Jones (not pictured) shot a 94 for third place.
