Eagle Crest Tournament:

On Saturday, May 28th, the Arkansas GolfWeek Amateur Tour avoided another forecast weekend of stormy weather and played in sunshine and 80 degrees plus weather. The course was in great shape which led to some really great scores.  Below the winners:

Champ Flight

      Lee Sanders picked up his 2nd win of the year. Lee shot 73 to win by 6 shots over Ben Starsky (79). Nick Bryce finished in 3rd place.     

A Flight

 In the A flight: In his 1st event after hip surgery, James Kandlbinder found his way to the winners circle. James 81 was good enough for a 2 shot victory over Brandon Maple (83). Rick Cherry finished in 3rd one shot back (84).

B Flight 

     Justin Morgan got his 1st win of the year. Justin shot a nice 80 to beat LR Gardner by one shot (81). Richard Ainsworth and Jon Nutt finished tied for third 3 shots back at 83  (Picture not available)  

C Flight

      Raymond Peevy fired a great round of 82 to get the win by 2 shots over Jerry Crabtree (84). John Swenson finished 3rd (86) and Keith Vess came in 4th (87).   

D Flight

    Jeff Myers shot (80) to get his 1st win of the year. Greg Moring was 3 shots back at (83) to get second and Tim Smith finished 3rd with an (84).. Personal best scores for all 3 guys..
