The first ever Arkansas Players Championship was held this weekend on 2 great courses. We played Mt Ranch on Saturday and Tannenbaum on Sunday. The weather was perfect as the players competed in the 2 day tournament.

  Champ flight saw Jordan Totten, a visitor from the Ozark tour, shoot a pair of 80's to take first place. Jason Lyons came in 2nd.

  Doug Golden fired a very nice 2 day total of 156 (76-80) to win the A flight. Chris Huff came in 2nd at 162 and Mike Fowler came in 3rd with a 172.

   The B flight saw Gary Penna shoot a closing round of 83 to finish at 171. This was good enough for a 1 shot victory over tour newcomer Larry Greenfield. Keith Greenfield finished in 3rd four shots back at 175.

   The C flight was decided by 10 shots as Andrew Floyd shot a 91 on Sunday to earn out the victory over Vic Werner. Andrew shot 180 total and Vic finished at 190.

   Rusty McFarren was a runaway winner in the D flight. Rusty shot 189 to win has 3rd event of the year. William Davis finished in 2nd place.
