2017 Cypress Creek Tournament Results:

A very small sprinkle of rain did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm found in over 70 golfers at the Arkansas GolfWeek Amateur Tour's 2nd event at Cypress Creek in Cabot. The course was in great shape. Our first event using electronic scoring was fun, but got a little confusing when scores were not entered accurately. The winners of each flight are as follows:

Champ Flight

    Kyle Thompson (74) won over Ralph Babcock (83) in the Champ flight.

A Flight

    Robert Walters(74) took home the hardware with a 3-shot victory over Mike Frye (77). Winning a cardoff for 3rd over tour director, Jerry Homishak (79) was Kyle Barker (79). Jerry is not pictured as he was inside handing out money!   

B Flight 

     Kieth Greenfield fired a nice 76 to win the B-Flight by 3 strokes over Dalton Kulas(79). Not pictured but finishing 3rd was Jeremy Southerland(80).    

C Flight

     New Tour members continued to win the C Flight with Hoppy Mew (83) winning by 3 strokes over newcomer, James Moore (2nd from left) (89). Rounding out the C Flight was last week' s winner, Lance Jones( far right) (87) in 3rd place and Clyde Shirron (far left) in 4th place (88). 

D Flight

    Winning the D Flight with a 84 was Mike Jared. Second place was Ira Watkins (right) (89) and 3rd place was Cedric Roy with at 93.
