Cypress Creek Tournament:
On Saturday, May 1th, the Arkansas GolfWeek Amateur Tour played in their first REALLY hot weather tournament at Cypress Creeek golf course in Cabot, AR. Below are the winners:

A Flight
In the A flight Ray Blancaflor prevailed in a 4-man playoff with everyone shooting a 79 after 18 holes. It took 3 holes for the win over 2nd place, Rick Cherry. Also in the playoff were Scott House and Brian Buchanan.
B Flight
In another playoff that went 1 hole, Tim Robbins (center) defeated Michael Skeen (left). Both players shot a 78 in regulation holes. Keith Greenfield (right) finished 3rd with an 80.
C Flight
In the C Flight, Ken Taylor earned a 5-shot victory with an 83 over Vic Werner (88). Vic earned 2nd place in a cardoff over Jerry Crabtree.
D Flight
Keith Goolsby (left) won the D Flight with an 81 over Larry Hunter (87) (right). Larry won the 2nd place cardoff with Leisa Watkins (center) who finished 3rd. Mark Murphy also shot an 87.
