2017 Riser Nissan Open at Balboa Tournament Results:

A hot day at The Village saw a few hot scores that are likely going to lead to some promotions. Two playoffs in two flights were also the highlight and both playoffs took 2 holes to decide a winner:

Champ Flight

   Rob Walters shot a 76 for a 2-shot victory over newcomer, Joe Larsen.

A Flight

   One of those hot scores on a hot afternoon at Balboa was Cody Burns (73) who won over Matt Davies(right) (76) and Roy Blancaflor(left) (78).    

B Flight 

    In the B Flight, James Colgrove and Graham Morrell shot identical 76s and needed 2 holes to decide a victor. Graham won the playoff. Coming in 3rd in the B Flight was Jon Nutt (not pictured). 

C Flight

In a very tight C Flight contest, Raymond Peevy(80) was victorious over Tracy Leonard(left) (81) and Jay Williams(right) (82). 

D Flight

  Al Jones continues his winning ways, but this week it took extra holes to decide. Al was joined by Herman Homishak and Ira Watkins in a 2-hole playoff. All 3 players shot 87s. Ira dropped out on the first floor and Al sealed the victory over Herman on the 2nd hole with a par.
