2017 Ponce de Leon Tournament Results:

We finally got back to playing tournament golf after a couple of rainouts. The weather was perfect and the golf was enjoyable whether or not we played our best. Here are the flight winners:

Champ Flight

   Ben Starsky shot 79 to win over newcomer Jeff Allison

A Flight

   Tour Director, Jerry Homishak, won the A Flight with a 78. In a card playoff (pictured below Jerry), Scott House (left) took 2nd over Rick Cherry (right). Both shot 80.

B Flight 

     In the B flight, Kirby Rogers took first with a playoff win over Tim Robbins. Both players shot 77 in regular play. Rounding our 3rd was Mike Young (79).

C Flight

     C Flight has been the flight of new members winning. Once again at Ponce, newcomer  Gerald Laird won with an 82. It also earned him a promotion to the B Flight. In a cardoff, 2nd place was Jay Williams (far left) with an 87. 3rd place was Kieth Goolsby (87). Rounding out the paid places in the C Flight was Reagan Clem at 4th (88).

D Flight

    Ira Watkins was the big winner in the D Flight. Not only did he win the D Flight with a 91, but he also took home the current and carryover skin money of $400. Tim Smith came in 2nd with a 93.
