Balboa Golf Tournament Results

D Flight Winners 1st Place Tom Victory 2nd Place Herman Homishak
What a great day we had at Balboa Golf course. Thanks to the staff for all thier help. We had a good turnout and you could not have asked for better weather to play golf. The course was in great shape and everyone had a great time.
In the champ flight we had a first time winner, Aaron Sharp shot a very 4 over par 76 to take the trophy. Leol Garner finished 2nd with an 80 and new comer Carson Fields finished in 3rd.
The A flight was very close as the top 3 players were within 2 stokes of each other. Kenny Pearce captured his 1st win of the season with a great round of 79. Jerry Homishak finished 1 shot back in 2nd with 80 and OJ Posey finished 3rd with an 81.
B flight saw Darryl Hicks and Jon Nutt tied with 2 holes left in regulation. Darryl was able to to win those holes and the 1st place trophy shooting an 84. Jon had to settle for 2nd shooting an 86. Keith Greenfield finished in 3rd.
In the C flight we had a run away winner as Kyle Malone shot a great round of 83 to win by 9 shots over Danny Smith who finished 2nd with a 92. Stephen Garland shot a 93 to finish in 3rd place.
It looks like we may have a promotion coming for Kyle!!!
The D flight was also a very competative flight. The top 5 players were all within 6 shots of the each other. Congratulations to Tom Victory who picked up his first win of the year. Tom shot 98 followed in 2nd with a 99 by Herman Homishak. 3rd place went to Tony Buck with a 101.
