The egolf Amateur Tour of Nashville visited Chapel Hill, TN and toured the tree-lined fairways of Henry Horton this weekend. 49 of the AGT's finest made the trek down I-65 to enjoy a great day of competition. Adam Johnson of Nashville provided fireworks in the A flight when bested Mt. Juliet's David Kirsch and Brentwood's Todd Story when he sunk an 80-footer for birdie on the first playoff hole. Each golfer posted an 81 to make it in to the playoff. In the Championship flight, Goodlettsville's Mark Jones and Murfreesboro's Robert Sain needed an extra hole to decide a winner. Both players shot the low round of the day with a 76 and Mark Jones only need one hole to claim his 2nd victory of the year. In the B flight, Ashland City's Brian Burnett posted 79 to best 3 other B flighters by 1 stroke. In a scorecard playoff, Nashville's Andrew Ward and Columbia's Mike Gilles finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively. In the C flight, Franklin's Horace Spoon extended his lead in the season's point race when he claimed another victory. His round of 85 was just enough to get by Murfreesboro's Steve Strawn (86) and Franklin's Van Robinson (88). In the D flight, Dianne Dickinson (86) posts another win with a 1 stroke victory over Murfreesboro's Stephen Rhein (87) and Hermitage's Ray Wiggins (94).
