The ServiceMaster Classic at Riverfront Golf Club
Tournament Results from May 17th
The Tidewater Golfweek Amateur Tour kicked off the 2020 Tour Season with it's largest tournament ever, 129 players for the Servicemaster Classic.

Even with an adjusted set up and double tee start, the tournament moved along well, and players seemed to have a great time at Riverfront Golf Club.

Trueworthy stamps the early statement victory at Riverfront!
In the Championship Flight, Michael Trueworthy earned the victory with a 65, including 8 birdies. Ryan Nolan placed second with a 72, followed by Spencer Mims with a 73 for third place. Rounding out the Top-5 was Scott Kittleson (74), Robbie Cole (76), Michael Mitchell (76), Mark Hanna (76).

Trueworthy's 65 is one of the lowest ever on the Tidewater Golfweek Amateur Tour.
DeJesus takes down a solid A-Flight with top notch play!
In the A Flight, Richard DeJesus posted 72 to win by three shots over Jimmy Lewis 75. Third place was a tie, Matt Brookman & Brian Layne 76. Rounding out the Top-5, was Jordan Flemer 77.
"Rookie" Abernathy takes the victory at Riverfront!
In the B Flight, Stephen Abernathy scored a victory after shooting 77 and winning by 4 strokes. Second place was a three-way tie, Scott Kattwinkel 81, Mike Miller 81 and Patrick Raggiani 81. Rounding out the Top-5, was Bill Glab 84.
Andi Grant starts 2020 off with a victory at Riverfront!
In the C Flight, Andi Grant posted a 82 to win by two shots over Michael Moran, 84 and Patrick Ribble*, 84. Taking fourth place was Chris Lambertsen 85, and a tie for fifth, Franklin Harrison & Benjamin Joynes 86.


*Ribble, Patrick received a tournament Battlefield Promotion on his top-notch round of 84. He was promoted to the C-Flight for the Riverfront Tournament.
"Rookie" Pierce holds off a group of players to take the victory.
In the D Flight, Dan Pierce earned his first career victory with a 94, and a one-shot win. Chuck Aardahl, Tom Ribble, and Jason Whaley tied for second with a 95, followed by Josh Matthews with a 97 for fifth place.
