2026 Frostbite Challenge Recap
Tidewater & Richmond Golfweek Amateur Tours Season Opener
The Tidewater & Richmond Golfweek Amateur Tours officially kicked off the 2026 Tour Season after an early February delay — and it was well worth the wait.
With a full field of 108 players, temperatures rose throughout the round — and so did some scores — as Royal New Kent once again proved to be a demanding test. The course challenged every flight and delivered an exciting and competitive start to the new season.
A special thank you to tournament sponsor Mike Harris, owner of 1631 Burgers Bourbon & Brew, for supporting the event and helping make Opening Day a great success.
