TOURNAMENT RECAP

On a dry and sunny weekend, 120 golfers took on the two courses at Williamsburg National in the annual Tidewater Masters. Saturday on the Yorktown course brought some tucked pins and rolling greens, and on Sunday the Jamestown course played a little easier for some. As always the staff at Williamsburg National was wonderful and we look forward to another major in 2025 with them. Nicole & I would like to thank all the tour members for another great Tidewater Masters, and for supporting the Tidewater Golfweek Amateur Tour.

HARTSELLE wins in a PLAYOFF!

 

In Champ Flight, Tidewater's Mike Hartselle (77-75) won on the third playoff hole over Matthew Spruill (79-73) of Tidewater. Hartselle played a solid two rounds of golf at Williamsburg National, and collected his second Tidewater Masters Jacket. Rounding out the top three was Terrance Bordley (79-79).
 

SANFORD wins Wire-to-Wire!

 

In A-Flight, Tidewater's Zane Sanford (73-73), won by 6-strokes over Nick Crowe (82-70) who finished second. Taking third place was, Marcus Godinez & Jon Coullier. Taking fifth place in the money was Jason Hall, followed by Dave Bumm, and rounding out the Prize Places was Kevin Martin.
 

Quinones wins his first Jacket, Wire-To-Wire Victory!

 

In B-Flight, Tidewater's Carlos Quinones (80-84), won by 1-stroke over Mike Fleming (83-82), and Dan Lewis (85-80) who tied for second. Taking fourth place was, Michael Murphee. Tied for sixth place in the money was Pat Crawford and Kevin Bryars, and rounding out the Prize Places was Sean Redmond.
 

MARTIN comes from behind to claim his Second Jacket!

 

In C-Flight, Tidewater's Dave Martin (86-84), won by 1-stroke over Mike Grant (87-84) who finished second. Taking third place was, Pat Smith. Taking a tie for fourth place in the money was Cody Carver & Mike Mercado, followed by Cory Johnson, and rounding out the Prize Places was Jason Whaley.
 

ENZOR claims his second Jacket!

 

In D-Flight, Tidewater's Wayne Enzor (86-94), won by 1-stroke over Roe Harris (94-87) who finished second. Taking third place was, Wayne Blaasch. Taking fourth place in the money was Mark Hazelwood, followed by Will Graves and Will Spittle, and rounding out the Prize Places was Jamall Garrett.
