EVENT RECAP: The Tidewater Championship at Kilmarlic Golf Club
 
 

The Tidewater Golfweek Amateur Tour took to Kilmarlic Golf Club in Powells Point, NC for the Year's First Major. The two day tournament brought some tough conditions, and overall good weather both days. With a field of 111 players on the course for the annual Tidewater Championship. Congrats to all the Flight winners and Day Money winners.

Below are the Day Monies from the tournament. Tournament results should be posted early next week, and any players wishing to move down a flight should notify the Tour Director at that time via email (Please review the Tour Manual for details).

 
 

In the Championship Flight, Chris Greenfield (75-77) won by four shots over Thomas Garbee (84-72). Greenfield played a top notch two day tournament to earn his first Tidewater Tour Major. Rounding out the Top-3 was, Steve Sartore (80-80).

In the A Flight, Thomas Dobrick (79-78) won by three shots over Tim Middleton (81-79). Coming in third was Marcus Godinez (81-81). Finishing tied for fourth was Scott Kattwinkel (76-88), Zane Sanford (73-91). Rounding out the Tournament Prizes was Ron Sullins (84-81), Mark Hanna (84-81)

In the B Flight, Donny Marshall (79-78) won by twelve shots over Mike Fleming (82-87). Coming in third was John Doyle (78-92). Finishing tied for fourth was Jeffrey Williams (85-91), Kenny Price (82-94). Rounding out the Tournament Prizes was Harry Taormina (88-90), Travis Lawson (86-92)

In the C Flight, Jason Whaley (82-94) won by six shots over Dale Chu (91-91), Cody Carver (90-92). Finishing in fourth was Tom Fitzsimmons (95-89). Rounding out the Tournament Prizes was Nick Wilson (91-94), Dail Heath (86-100), John Parrish (94-94)

In the D Flight, Chad McCaskey (90-90) won by ten shots over Wayne Blaasch (90-100). Coming in third was Jamall Garrett (94-97). Finishing in fourth was Hal Lare (95-98). Rounding out the Tournament Prizes was Mark Hazelwood (99-96), Ben Willis (100-96), Erik Manuel (99-97).
