Southaven, MS - Thanks to all the players for coming out in the high temperatures this weekend to play golf on the Golfweek Amateur Tour.  The heat index was well over 100 and the drama was high at the Isle of Capri Shootout!  Two flight winners were decided on the last hole of regulation this weekend at the Wedgewood Golfers Club.

Champ flight was won by new member Chris Schlette with an 85 on Saturday and 77 on Sunday.

Thomas McMurdy took home the A' flight title with a total of 162.  Todd Bradford grabbed 2nd place at 167, with Rick Kidder getting 3rd at 176.

Jeff Donovan erased a 5 shot deficit from Saturdays first round to take home the win.  Jeff and John Pigg where tied going into their final hole on Sunday, and Jeff won the flight and the hole with a par. Greg Cryder took home 3rd.

New member and Isle of Capri rep Jose Oakley also won the C' flight on the last hole of the tournament.  Jose and flight leader Shane Springer were tied going into the last hole, and Mr. Oakley birdied the hole for the win.  Shane finished 2nd and Parker Harris grabbed 3rd place.  Congrats Jose!

Don "Schemer" Harris (189) pulled out the win this weekend over D flight points leader Lee Harris (194).  John Conlee beat out George Houser on scorecard playoff for 3rd place.
