Twin Lakes Golf Course

Clifton, VA

April 5 - "The Lakes Course"

April 6 - "The Oaks Course"

To kick off "Masters Week," the DC Metro Golfweek Amateur Tour held its first "Major" of the year, the "DC Metro Masters" @ Twin Lakes Golf Course in Clifton, VA on Saturday, April 5th and Sunday April 6th. 52 Golfers battled in overcast but warm conditions on Saturday and with 15-20 mph winds temperature drops on Sunday afternoon to compete for the win. On Saturday, golfers played the "The Lakes Course" and Sunday, "The Oaks Course." The "Lakes Course", a Par 72 track is wide-open while" The Oaks Course" is a Par 71 tree-lined track. The level of competition was definitely ramped up as a couple of flights came down to the at least the last three (3) holes on Sunday. One winner was determined in a one hole playoff. Both courses were in immaculate condition based on the time of year and the greenskeeper must have been made based on where he placed the pins! The support for the course staff was awesome. Finally, we are grateful to the Upstate NY Tour and it's Director, Adam Cahill for bringing down nine players with him to compete. We hope you and your players had a great time and we look forward to coming to visit your tour as well. Again, thanks to the DC Metro players for your continued support. We couldn't do what we do without you. Hats off to the staff of Twin Lakes for you continued support. The feedback we receive about your venue is positive and we look forward to continuing this relationship in the future.
