Champ Flight Winner - Chance Trottman-Huiet

In his debut Golfweek Amateur Tour event at Pevely Farms, first-year member Chance Trottman-Huiet set his sights on victory and didn’t disappoint. Bursting out of the gates with precision and power, Chance showcased his skill with a phenomenal 35 on the front nine, sitting at 1-under par. His trusty 2 iron off the tee proved to be a game-changer.

Maintaining his impressive form, Chance navigated the back nine with a solid 38, bringing his total to 73. This remarkable performance secured him the tournament win by a commanding five strokes.

A Flight Winner - Tom Estopare
 

 

Tom Estopare, riding high from his recent victory at Tapawingo, continued his stellar form on the Golfweek Amateur Tour. With a laser-focused start, Estopare fired an impressive 37 on the front nine, showcasing his precision and consistency. As he moved to the back nine, the pressure intensified, but Estopare remained unfazed, navigating each hole with strategic finesse and carding a solid 40.

His total score of 77 not only highlighted his exceptional skill but also his ability to perform under pressure, securing his second consecutive tournament win by holding off a determined Albert Delamarter by just one stroke.

B Flight Winner - Earl Mason

Earl Mason, already a victor once this season, returned to the course with determination and skill. From the outset, Mason played his game, delivering a solid 40 on the front nine with precise drives and accurate putts. Moving to the back nine, he maintained his composure despite the rising competition, carding a 44 to bring his total to 84.

Mason's steady performance allowed him to hold off strong challenges from Scott Nishimura and Kelly Bordewick of the Kansas Tour, securing the win by two strokes.

C Flight Winner - Doug Petty

Doug Petty has been working tirelessly in his first year to break into the winner's circle, and his hard work paid off on a beautiful day at Pevely Farms. He started his round with an impressive drive straight down the fairway, setting the tone for what would be a memorable day. Petty tackled the front nine with determination, shooting a 45.

As the competition intensified on the back nine, Petty found himself in a close battle with his friend Tony Williams. Undeterred, Petty displayed remarkable composure and skill, firing a 42 on the back nine. His total score of 87 was just enough to edge out Williams by a single stroke, securing his first victory on the Golfweek Amateur Tour.

D Flight Winner - Ryan Makurat

After a couple of years on the tour with numerous solid performances, Ryan Makurat finally found his moment of triumph. He kicked off his round with an absolute bomb cut off the left side, signaling that today was different. From that powerful opening drive, Ryan's confidence soared, and his play reflected it.

On the front nine, Ryan demonstrated remarkable consistency and focus, navigating the course with precision to card a 46. As he transitioned to the back nine, the pressure mounted, but Ryan remained steady, matching his front nine performance with another 46. His total score of 92 was enough to hold off a strong challenge from veteran member Colin Dooley by three strokes.

Congratulations, Ryan, on your well-deserved win! This man is ready for more challenges and is not backing down. Watch out, everyone—Ryan wants all the smoke!
