Golfers will encounter Sandhill Cranes throughout their round on this 7,201-yard design—these elegant birds are known to dance and sing, and their call is a loud trumpeting sound that is often described as a rolling karoo.

 

Roost is an 18-hole course that capitalizes on different environments—routing through the sandy, scrubby areas adjacent to Karoo, rolling meadows that are sprinkled with flowering dogwoods and native wildflowers, and even a 40-foot-deep sinkhole.
