Terry Fisher (Jax Tour)--Championship Flight

After a three week break, the Golfweek Amateur Tour / Orlando returned to action at Eaclg Creek in Orlando on April 21.   For the second tournament in a row, a Jacksonville member topped the Championship Flight.  Terry Fisher carded a nice 3-under 70.  Tom Dillon missed a chance to tie Terry on the last hole to finish T2 with Chad Frank.  They shot 71's.  Chad won the scorecard playoff.  Chad "doubled" in the Senior Championship flight and took the top victory.  Cory Walker was second.

Robin Gomez, A Flight

A Flight went to Robin Gomez with nice 74.  It was his second straight win.  It was three better than Steve Cleary.  Paul Cope (78) was third.  In Senior A FlightBill Rambo won for the first time in 2018 with a 1-under 72, one of the best rounds of the day.

Ray Rodriguez, B Flight and SrB Flight

Ray Rodriguez (82) grabbed  his 2nd straight victory in B Flight, but he had to win a four way playoff with Rowland Brown, Mark Klenck amd John Prano to do it.   Rodriguez, Brown & Klenck all "double" in Senior B flight and finished 1-2-3 there.

Low scores were the order of the day in C Flight.  Austin Grimm put up an 81 to beat first year member Todd Smith (83) by 2.  Charlie James was third with 84.   George Ricardo (87) was fourth.   Todd and Charlie "doubled" in Senior C and finished first and seecond., respectively.  D Flight saw players from other tours take the top three places--Charles Benintende of the Tampa tour lead the way with 87.  Larry Penfield of Charleston (90) and Mark Harris (93) also of Tampa.   Ben Beasley (95) took fourth  for the best Orlando finish.
