The Champ Flight commenced the year's first playoff of the season, featuring the reigning Player of the Year, JR Munson, competing against Adam Trainer. After the first nine holes, Trainer held a commanding five-shot lead over Garrett Wilson and a six-shot advantage over both Munson and newcomer Nick Berardi. However, Munson gradually chipped away at Trainer's lead, ultimately tying the match after 16 holes. Trainer regained a one-shot lead on the 17th hole, but Munson responded by equalizing on the 18th, which led to a playoff. During the first playoff hole, Munson made a crucial 19-foot putt to extend the match. He then proceeded to the second hole, a par-three, where he secured a par to claim victory.
The A Flight commenced with several players making a notable impact, including Andrew Zeigler, Patrick Stueve, and Brandon Gilpin. After nine holes, the competition intensified, with seven players within five strokes of the lead. By the twelfth hole, Zeigler and Troy Bailey were just one stroke behind Gilpin, with Joel Brooks trailing by two shots. Demonstrating his skill, Gilpin concluded the round by finishing +2 over his last six holes, thereby securing back-to-back victories. Paul Stanton ended the event with consecutive pars, narrowly taking second place by a single stroke over Bailey and Brooks.
After completing six holes in the B Flight, Cliff Austin, Matt Jensen, and Dillon Rogers were tied for the lead at +4, with Jay Jones and Matt Carson trailing by two strokes. At the halfway mark, Austin held a narrow one-shot lead over Jensen, ultimately securing another Tour victory following his recent win of the green jacket. He concluded the event with a five-shot advantage over both Jensen and Rogers. Jones fell just short of earning prize money, missing out by a single stroke.
David King demonstrated his dominance in the C Flight, starting with a par on his opening hole and reaching the turn with a score of +6. Scott Miller and Alan Parker closely followed, trailing by just 2 and 3 strokes, respectively. Tim Murphy executed an impressive comeback, finishing strong to ascend to second place after initially finding himself in last. King maintained his composure on the back nine, recording another +6 to secure back-to-back victories, finishing 5 strokes ahead of Miller taking second place, while Parker claimed third place with a score of +18.
The D Flight concluded with an exhilarating finish. After nine holes, a three-way tie at +10 was established among Brad Haeffner, Cliff Austin Jr., and Ronnie Vargas. The final three holes proved to be pivotal, as Haeffner successfully sank two long putts, while Austin made a remarkable chip-in on the last hole, ultimately finishing just one stroke behind. As a result, Haeffner secured his first victory of the 2025 season, earning the title of Flight Champion.
