Champ Flight - Three players came out to show their skills on a tough course, with one of them trying to defend his home course. At the turn our leader had a four stroke lead but would see his lead fall. This is until his birdie on 17 and a solid final hole would secure the victory for Ty Taylor with a +10 (82), making this his first victory of the season.
A Flight - Following closely, the A Flight had a compelling competition with another home course faithful hoping to defend his course. At the turn he would have a seven stroke lead, but don't count out the field as we would see a great comeback. Hole 18 would be the deciding hole and in the end we would need a playoff with two other players, which made the comeback in the final nine holes. After a one hole playoff, Brandon Nichols emerged victorious with a +10 (85) score, making this his second victory of the season.
B Flight - Like always, the B Flight had a battle until the end. For most of the day it was two players that were on top of the leaderboard, but half the field was right behind them. The outcome Came down to their final three holes, giving Kenny Crowe the championship by the smallest of margians with a +12 (84) score, making this his FIRST VICTORY OF THE SEASON and breaking the three-peat chance of Jordan Morrow. Manuel Bustamante took second place with a +15 (87).
C Flight - The C Flight had the last chance for the home town hero's to make a claim at the championship. At the turn the leader would have a big lead, but the entire field on his heels. The decisive factor in the victory unfolded in the final 5 holes, and once the dust settled we had Roy Littleton taking the championship with a +18 (90) and securing his FIRST VICTORY ON TOUR. Steven Trevizo would take second place with a +24 (96), and a strong welcome back to the tour.
D Flight - Concluding the event this flight had the most players in the event and anyone had a chance to claim the victory. At the turn we would have ten players within 4 strokes of each other and that could change on any hole. Once the dust settled we would have another playoff in this flight. Shawn Allen would take the championship with a +22 (98), making this a BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONSHIP. Andy Zapien would take second place from the playoff, and Cody Galbraith taking third with a +24 (100).
