Tournament Results
Champ Flight - This flight would see one leader have a seven stroke lead after Day 1. On Day 2 anything could happen at the tough Twin Warriors Course. But a strong two days in the 70's would prove victorious for Alex Duran with a Two Day TOTAL of +8 (152), making this BACK TO BACK VICTORIES of the season.
A Flight - Following closely, the A Flight featured familiar faces and a battle we had between three of them. After Day 1 we would have one stroke lead between them, setting the stage for a thrilling conclusion. But on Day 2 one of them would run away with the tournament and claim the victory. Danny Broughton would become our champion with a TOTAL of +9 (153) score making this his 1st VICTORY ON TOUR.
B Flight - As usual, the B Flight offered battle until the end. After Day 1 we would have a familiar face as the leader and six others only five shots back. On Day 2 with all on the line, we would see a battle come down to the final hole where our champion would be determined. Randy Hodge would claim the championship with a TOTAL of +24 (168) score, marking this his FIRST VICTORY ON TOUR. Securing the second place by tiebreaker was Gaudencio Pavia, with a total of +36 (169).
C Flight - The C Flight had the entire field in contention with eight players within eight stroke of the leader after Day 1. We would then see a comeback be completed on Day 2 and winning on the final hole to aviod a Playoff. Roy Littleton would claim the championship with a TOTAL of +23 (167) and making it his 3rd VICTORY OF THE SEASON, and a PROMOTION TO B FLIGHT!!! Orlando Almeida would take second by a tiebreaker with a total of +24 (168).
D Flight - Concluding the event with the final flight, the tournament witnessed an amazing event. After Day 1 we would have the five players chasing the leader with only a three stroke difference. On Day 2 it was coming down to the last final holes and a possible playoff happening. In the end, Joe Gonzales would claim the championship with TOTAL of +35(179) score, making this his FIRST VICTORY OF THE SEASON. New Member Scott McCauley would take the second place spot with a total of +37 (181).
