Tournament Results
Champ Flight - This flight would see a total of 11 Birdies and 1 Eagle on Day 1 with the leader have a seven stroke lead and an impressice 66 on the day. On Day 2 it was cruise control for our leader and he finished with a stong 68 for back to back sub-70 rounds. Marshall Daniel would take the victory with a Two Day TOTAL of -10 (134), making this SECOND VICTORY OF THE SEASON.
A Flight - Following closely, the A Flight featured familiar faces with a guest from our Family Rival and "Little Brother" the Arizona Tour. After Day 1 we would have four stroke lead between the leader and the entire field, setting the stage for a thrilling conclusion. But on Day 2 our leader would have an outstanding round with a 78 and securing the victory for Bill McKiegan with a TOTAL of +15 (159) score making this Arizona's ONLY victory on our tour this season.
B Flight - As usual, the B Flight offered battle until the end. After Day 1 we would have a familiar face as the leader would only have a three stoke lead over three other Members. On Day 2 with all on the line, we would see a battle come down to the final hole where our champion would be determined and missing a playoff by a putt. Kenny Crowe would claim the championship with a TOTAL of +15 (159) score, marking this his THIRD VICTORY OF THE SEASON AND SECOND MAJOR VICTORY. Securing second place would be late entry Roy Littleton with a total of +16 (160). KENNY CROWE WOULD ALSO EARN A PROMOTION TO A FLIGHT!!!
C Flight - The C Flight had the entire field in contention with seven players within seven stroke of the leader after Day 1. We would then see a battle between two players to the very end as we almost had a second playoff on the day. Ricardo Almeida would claim the championship with a TOTAL of +27 (171) and making it his FIRST VICTORY OF THE SEASON, ONE BEING A REGIONAL EVENT IN LAS VEGAS. We would see Jon Calderon take second with a total of +28 (172).
D Flight - Concluding the event with the final flight, the tournament witnessed an amazing event. After Day 1 we would have a four player tie for the lead, with two other players only a stroke behind the leaders. On Day 2 it was close for majority of the day until the final couple of holes. In the end, 13 Year Old Asher Lopes would claim the championship with TOTAL of +40 (184) score, making this his SECOND VICTORY OF THE SEASON. Maurice Frank would take another second place spot with a total of +44 (188). ASHER LOPES WOULD ALSO EARN A PROMOTION TO C FLIGHT!!!
