Tournament Results
Champ Flight - The opening act of the event showcased a competitive field. At the turn we had two players tied for the lead with a lot of golf left. The final stretch we would see one player have a run of four bars and three birdies to claim the victory. New Member Ben Lozano clinched the title with a +4 (76), making this his FIRST VICTORY ON TOUR.
A Flight - Following closely, the A Flight featured familiar faces and a compelling competition. At the turn everyone was in the mix as only four strokes was the difference, setting the stage for a thrilling conclusion. In the end, Fernie Jasso emerged victorious with a +5 (77), making this his SECOND VICTORY of the season!
B Flight - As usual, the B Flight offered a relentless battle until the end. Seventeen players navigated through the initial round with six strokes as the gap. The outcome hinged on a strong performance in the final eight holes which consisted ov eight pars and one birde. Chris Rocha would claim the championship with a +5 (77), making this his FIRST VICTORY of the season. Securing the second place was New Member John Cobian, with a +10 (82). Taking third was Stephanie Cieslik with a +11 (83).
C Flight - The C Flight boasted an unpredictable field where any player could emerge victorious. At the turn, one player had the solo lead with a seven stroke lead over the field. But the back nine would show that anything could happen and we would see our first playoff in a while. Ken Copeland and Jerome Bingham would only need one hole to determine our champion, and Jerome Bingham would claim the championship at +16 (88) making this his FIRST VICTORY of the season. Ken Copeland would take second after the playoff.
D Flight - Concluding the event with the final flight, the tournament witnessed a closely contested race throughout. At the turn more than half the field would be in contention. But a strong finish in the last five holes would be the determaning factor with German Macias capturing the championship with a +18 (90) making this BACK TO BACK VICTORIES on the season. Blake Lightfoot secured the second place with a +22 (94).
