The Course
The Orchards Golf Club is the cornerstone of a 525 acre residential and golf community. The golf course, with its classic looks and style of play, is an eighteen-hole championship daily fee course, designed by internationally acclaimed golf course architect, Robert Trent Jones Jr. Reminiscent of the private clubs of the twenties. The Orchards challenges the golfer by permitting a variety of approaches to each hole.
Practice Facility
The practice facility at The Orchards is unique to Southeastern Michigan. The 27,000 square foot practice green was designed as a combination pitching, putting, and bunker shot practice area. The practice range was designed to accommodate both individual practice and lessons by The Orchards professional staff. The range is 400 yards long with split level tees of 12,000 square feet open to the public at the North end, while a single 8,500 square foot tee is dedicated specifically to teaching, at the South end. The practice area is open daily to the public, unless a group lesson is in session
