Event Info: First tee times are at 12:00PM. This will be a split tee start on the Woodside & Lakeside nines. Pay attention to the course you are starting on!

Tee times will be posted on the website and emailed out by EOD Thursday, April 17.

2025 Season Opener @ Cantigny - Total Prize Pool $3,000 (Based on Full Field of 100 Players)

Tee Boxes:

Champ & A Flights: Blue Tees (6,604 yards)

B & C Flights: Blue/White Combo Tees (6,396 yards)

D Flight (Men): White Tees (6,237 yards)

D Flight (Women): Red Tees (5,425 yards)

General Information:

• Please check in as soon as you arrive at the course. Check-in table will be located in front of the clubhouse right outside the door to the pro shop. You will check in at our table and do not need to check in with the Cantigny pro shop at all.
• The Cantigny staff at the bag drop will have our tee time sheet, so if you choose, you may drop your bag off with them and they can load it on your cart. Carts will be staged for us at the top of the hill near the check-in booth.
• There is a driving range available for use and range balls are included in your entry fee. The driving range will get crowded so if you would like to use the range prior to your round, make sure you allow yourself adequate time.
• Chipping & putting practice areas are also available for our use.
• You must be at the first tee no later than 10 minutes prior to your tee time for announcements.

Side Games:

• $10 for Super Skins (one pot, all flights combined, birdies or better only)
• $10 for Flight Skins (one pot per flight; Champ, A, B birdies or better only; C, D pars or better)
• $10 for Par 3 Closest to the Pin & Hole-in-One Season-Long Pot
  • Field will be split in two groups for CTP; Group 1: Champ & A flights; Group 2: B/C/D flights
  • CTP holes for Champ/A will be Woodside #8 and Lakeside #8
  • CTP holes for B/C/D will be Woodside #3 and Lakeside #4
  • $8 from your $10 will fund the CTP pots, $4 for each hole
  • $2 from your $10 will fund our season-long hole-in-one pot which will roll over until someone hits one
• You may enter all 3 side games for a total of $30 or you can pick and choose.
• Side games are CASH ONLY and must be paid at the check-in desk prior to your tee time.

Pace of Play & Scoring:

• Pace of play will be enforced per the documented policies of the Golfweek Amateur Tour. There should be no more than a 15-minute gap between groups at any time. If your group is found to be behind pace, you will be given one warning. Upon second warning, all players in the group will receive a two-stroke penalty.
• One player in the group should be responsible for live scoring; another player in the group should be responsible for keeping the paper scorecard. Ideally, these players would be in different carts. 
• Upon completion of the round, all players should verify the paper and electronic scorecards as correct. At the conclusion of the round, at least two players in the group must sign and attest the paper scorecard as correct. In the event of a discrepancy, the paper scorecard is the official card.
• The paper scorecard must be turned in at the scoring table within 15 minutes of completion of your round.

Payouts & Prizes:

• All trophies and winnings will be presented immediately after all players in a flight have completed play and scorecards have been signed and verified.
• Flight Skins will be paid out immediately after all players in a flight have completed play and scorecards have been signed and verified.
• Super Skins and Closest to the Pin will be paid out once all players in the tournament have completed play and scorecards have been signed and verified.
• If you are owed winnings and/or a trophy and you have already left the course, I will contact you within 24 hours of completion of the event to coordinate how to get you your winnings.
• Tournament winnings will be paid out in Visa gift cards; side games winnings will be paid out in cash.
